Teen Titans Go! To The Movies: A Spoiler Free Review

If DC knows how to do one thing well, it’s their television shows.  They’re still trying to figure out that movie thing after 30 years of trying, but TV they’ve had down since Adam West.  Teen Titans Go! has been a successful television show on Cartoon Network for quite some time now and they finally decided to put the effort in to giving it a full length movie.  It is well deserved. They took the same writing style and foolish characters and just extended the length and plot to fit a theatrical release.  Titans does a really good job of realizing that parents had to sit through this entire viewing, unlike when they are in the comfort of their home and can leave the room, and incorporated many jokes about comics and life that only adults would comprehend.  Mind you they were sandwiched in between fart and kid jokes, but the effort was appreciated.  With original songs and childish comic humor, Titans is enjoyable throughout its entirety.  The plot wasn’t too complicated for kids but keeps adults attention as well as a children’s movie can.  Being drowned in comic book references and humor does help.  The entire family will laugh out loud during this movie, often at the same time.  Bringing your children to a movie is an American past time and Teen Titans Go! To The Movies is a great way to spend a silly Saturday with your kids.  And lets be serious… You laugh at fart jokes.

I started this site because I love to share my opinion on many nerd subjects and found that often times I am sought out by friends to give my perspective. I started writing movie reviews and found it very therapeutic to put my thoughts out there. With some encouragement from my brother, The Nerd Cantina was born.
