There is a new rumor going around that the success of the “baby Yoda” has Disney scrambling to capitalize off it’s popularity. This is merely a rumor so take it for what it is. Rumors in hollywood and the sites that spread them often have no facts to back them up. It’s as if someone just thinks of a headline that will get clicks for ad revenue and writes up a bunch of nonsense that can not be verified. Today I am “someone”.

In no way is this rumor true at all and I am only doing this in an attempt to get people to check their sources and stop sharing bullshit headlines. If you are reading this now you are not the target audience, although you did click a link that you should of probably known was false. However you are doing better than the countless amount of people that see a catchy headline and pound the share button to be first to let their friends in on something they heard without checking its source or even doing some critical thinking that would raise some red flags. Sites like wevegotthiscovered.com are notorious for circulating false rumors that were obviously made up by someone in their offices yet our timelines are constantly bombarded with friends sharing these obvious bullshit headlines.

Now by clicking this link and reading this I have not profited one bit as there are no ads on my site. I am doing this to prove a point and test the gullibility of the general public myself. If this article goes viral I will truly fear for our society. Would a baby Yoda animated series be cool? Probably. Should you of known it wasn’t going to happen based on the headline and site it was coming from, definitely. I’m quite sure most have never heard of my site or podcast so the minute you saw where it came from you should have dismissed the notion and not shared something so obviously false. Sadly that is not where we are in society and its starting to wear down our own intuitions. I hope if you have read this article you clicked on it to do your own investigating.
