Tee Fury: My Secret Stash of Nerd Shirts

I take great pride in my nerd shirt collection. Much like my tattoos, my choice of tee shirt is a form of expression. The occasional walker-by that would shoot me the “nice shirt bro” or the person at the checkout counter that gets a huge smile and points to the shirt, really would make me smile. There is a short lived bond formed by the shared love for the shirt’s subject. The shirts I choose to wear are often quite unique so it often causes someone to ask where I bought it. Trying to preserve my own nerd style and uniqueness I would never tell them. Often I would say it was a gift or I couldn’t remember. Many times I would just tell them no. In the end, I just wanted to make sure when standing in a long line to get into an event, I was the only one wearing this awesome shirt.

Tee Fury

Since starting The Nerd Cantina my goal is to bring our audience the best of the nerd life that I can. We have featured a few products that I have purchased myself and then shared with you. In keeping with that theme I reached out to my favorite nerd shirt site and became an affiliate, so now my secret shirt stash will now be known to our awesome readers and subscribers. The site that provides me with my unique style is Tee Fury and they have a way of selling shirts that give artists a great outlet and buyers the chance to stand out in a crowd.

Tee Fury

To start Tee Fury lets artists submit their own designs to put on shirts. If an artist is selected then they become a partner with Tee Fury and share in the profits. Artists get their own page on the site and really get a chance to promote their work. What Tee Fury provides to the customer, besides a quality tee shirt, is a limited printing of their “tee shirt of the day” model. Tee Fury offers one or two shirts a day. You have 24 hours to purchase that shirt and after the time is up it goes into the vault. Occasionally Tee Fury will put a selection of previous popular shirts for sale, many are only available for a limited time. This is to give the customer a limited edition feel to the shirts they purchase, and is why I often have the coolest shirt at a movie premier.

With becoming an affiliate this gives our readers a chance to not only take advantage of what has been one of my best nerd secrets for some time, but also support our site. So if you choose to go to Tee Fury and express your inner nerd with something more than the same Superman shirt at your local Target every fan buys, then click one of the Tee Fury links on our site. Your purchase will support our daily efforts to bring you quality nerd content. A truly win/win situation. You can also check out our Instagram page and look for our #nerdshirtoftheday which features many of my Tee Fury shirts. You can also send us some of your best nerd shirt selfies and we will post them as our “nerd shirt of the day”.

About: Steve Vingua

I started this site because I love to share my opinion on many nerd subjects and found that often times I am sought out by friends to give my perspective. I started writing movie reviews and found it very therapeutic to put my thoughts out there. With some encouragement from my brother, The Nerd Cantina was born.
