Space X, Starlink Wants More Satellites, Microsoft’s Big Contract, Open AI, and more

This week we discuss how all of these streaming services are causing subscription fatigue.  There are new trailers for Star Wars: The Rise of the Skywalkers and the Mandalorian. Space X announces its plans to launch Starships to the moon in 2022 and Starlink gets approval to increase its satellite plan to 42,000.  Microsoft wins the bid for a major government contract and they begin investing in Elon’s Open AI. Google claims to have gained quantum supremacy with its latest quantum computing test. We also have a new record for the longest flight after the Air force spy plane lands after 780 days.

I started this site because I love to share my opinion on many nerd subjects and found that often times I am sought out by friends to give my perspective. I started writing movie reviews and found it very therapeutic to put my thoughts out there. With some encouragement from my brother, The Nerd Cantina was born.
