My Hero Academia: Heroes Rising- A Spoiler Free Review

A good anime movie is able to remove their main characters from an ongoing storyline, show character growth, have a worthy villain, conclude a story and then be inserted back into the original show. This is not an easy task and Heroes Rising does this fluidly. Heroes are removed for plausible reasons, and are advanced in ways that satisfy an excellent plot while keeping the ability to be placed back into the episodic version seamlessly.

Heroes Rising tells a story that makes you feel you know the characters better by the end. Already established heroes show off their skills in ways that expand your understanding of not just their powers set, but also their purpose. Heroes Rising creates a new villian that not only tests the might of the students, but is also tied to the shows history. Battles that take advantage of the large format excite the audience with a soundtrack fitting for an epic tale.

Heroes Rising is enjoyable to say the least. The episodic version is one of the most watched animes currently out. To have a movie version done so well is icing on the cake. Fans are treated with appreciation by releasing a film of great quality while producing such an amazing show. If you are an anime fan but have not started My Hero Academia, now would be a great time to get enrolled.

I started this site because I love to share my opinion on many nerd subjects and found that often times I am sought out by friends to give my perspective. I started writing movie reviews and found it very therapeutic to put my thoughts out there. With some encouragement from my brother, The Nerd Cantina was born.
