Hamilton, Video game sales, ISP caps, and a Patriot Act amendment- TNCS Ep 81
Quote from Steve Vingua on May 20, 2020, 10:29 pmIn this week’s episode we go over the latest in entertainment and tech. Theaters this week took another big hit when Disney announced that they would be streaming Hamilton on Disney+ starting on July 3rd instead of their planned theatrical run. Disney also announced a new release date to the often rescheduled New Mutants movie. Rockstar Games is hit by a DDOS attack bringing down GTA V and Red Dead Redemption. Elon Musk moves forward with plans to get a factory set up in Texas and reopens his plants in a defiant act against stay at home orders. Internet service providers removed restrictive data caps during COVID-19 which has proven that the caps have been a scam all along. The senate amended the Patriot Act to allow federal agencies access to web browsing histories without a warrant.
