In this installment of Are You Reading? we will be talking about the relaunch of IDW’s Transformers comic. IDW has reset the continuity and is 2 issues into its reboot. The series is written by Brian Ruckley and illustrated by Angel Hernandez and Cachét Whitman. So far it has been a solid world building run. IDW Transformers seems to be geared to new fans as well as old. The story is set in the golden age of Cybertron. A time before the Autobot/Decepticon civil war which has all but defined the Transformers property up to this point. It’s a refreshing, never before seen look at Cybertron and the society that inhabits it.

The Transformers franchise can be intimidating to jump into, but this new series is a great introduction. If you have never read a Transformers book then this is the one for you.
